sWING-by for Non-Golfers Event
Take a stroll over to the beautiful Riverside Golf Course and join us for our fun sWING-by for Non-Golfers Event brought to you by the Geothermal Rising (GR) Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Task Force and Women in Geothermal (WING). The event is a relaxed and easy 5-10 minute walk from the Town and Country Resort where we are hosting GRC 2021.
The sWING-by for Non-Golfers Event is held in collaboration with the GRC Golf Tournament and aims to encourage participation and diversity in our charity golf day and bring golf to non golfers.
- Free-to-attend fun and engaging event;
- Networking and games on the clubhouse veranda;
- Bar food and beverages available for purchase;
- 1-hour group golf lessons with course professionals, includes putting and driving – additional $30 registration (limited availability);
- Meet and greet with GRC Tournament golfers and awards ceremony;
- Raffles prizes in support of our students; and,
- Dunk-a-Board-Member Dunk Tank – show your support for our students by dunking your favorite GR Board Member! CANCELLED - DUE TO THE WATER SHORTAGE IN CALIFORNIA
The DEI Task Force has been established to encourage and support diversity, equity and inclusion within the geothermal community and industries, both within our own membership and the wider community, and to further support the promotion and development of social and environmental justices in energy markets and our wider society.
