Yunxing Lu is a Ph.D. candidate from the Department of Civil and Environmental Engi- neering, University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA. He joined the University of Pittsburgh after he received the Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2017 and his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Nanjing Tech University in 2015. Under the supervisor of Prof. Andrew Bunger, his research interests mainly focus on geomechanics including the development of wellbore cementing and plugging materials, flow in porous media and the hydraulic fracturing in the unconventional reservoir and geothermal reservoir.
