The author is working as a research fellow and an adjunct faculty at Reykjavik University, Iceland and as a Chief Research Officer for GEG Power, Iceland. The author holds a Doctoral degree in mechanical engineering from Reykjavik University with research focused on developing techniques for superheated steam scrubbing and utilization for power generation, in relation to the Iceland Deep Drilling Project (IDDP) project.
The authors research interest include CFD for geothermal utilization applications, thermo-economic optimization of geothermal power plants and mitigation technology development for the treatment of geothermal fluid with acid gas and solid impurities. The author also holds an experience in design and installation for direct usage of geothermal resource and ground source heat pump for space heating.
