Saket Srivastava is a PhD candidate in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Oklahoma. He is also pursuing a master’s degree in Data Science and Analytics. Currently, he works at the Drilling Vibration Lab at the University of Oklahoma and specializes in experimentation, instrumentation, and analysis of drillstring vibrations, specifically stick-slip vibrations. Prior to this year, he was the President of the American Association of drilling Engineers (AADE). Saket is a published author with research emphasis in incorporating machine learning algorithms in drilling development. He has presented his research at multiple prestigious conferences for oil and gas and geothermal drilling including AADE, InternationalAssociation of Drilling Contractors, Offshore Technology Conference and the Stanford Geothermal Workshop.
