Pengju Xing is a postdoctoral researcher in the Energy & Geoscience Institute at the University of Utah. He has over 8 years’ experience on geomechanics, both in industry and academics, numerical simulations and experiments. He works on the stimulation design, stimulation simulation, thermal-hydro-mechanical analysis, in-situ stresses interpretation, drilling data evaluation, and wellbore stability for the FORGE project. Previously, he worked as a geomechanics engineer at W.D. Von Gonten Laboratories. He received his PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
