Moneeb Genedy is a Research Associate in the Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. He received his Ph.D. from the department of Civil, Construction, & Environmental Engineering at the University of New Mexico, focused on restoring wellbore seal integrity using polymer nanocomposites. He joined the CODA consortium at UT Austin in 2019 and he is the manger of the zonal isolation lab.
Dr. Genedy is a member of the Geothermal Rising, American Concrete Institute, and American Society of Civil Engineers. His main research focus is alternative cementing material for zonal isolation and lost circulation control. His research interest also includes polymer nanocomposites, smart materials, and 3D printing.
