Michael Bluemle is the Group Leader of the North American Water Applications Laboratory at Solenis in Wilmington, Delaware. Over the past three years, he and his team have focused on the research, development and commercialization of new calcite inhibitors and online cleaning methods for the geothermal power industry. Additionally, Michael provides global technical modeling support for geothermal, cooling water, reverse osmosis and mining applications. Prior to his current role, he was a member of the Solenis R&D Process Research group, where he co-developed new products for the mining industry and supported industrial water treatment R&D projects.
Michael has BS and MS degrees, both in chemical engineering, from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and a PhD in chemical engineering from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
