Martin Kibiwott Rotich is a registered professional Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK) with over 7 years’ experience in the geothermal drilling environment. He holds an Honours degree in BSc Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Science degree (Distinction) in Oil and Gas Management from Coventry University, UK. He possesses in-depth knowledge of technical Quality, Project and management principles in the energy industry (Oil and Gas and geothermal industry). His career spans manufacturing, construction and drilling industry. Working as a drilling engineer for over seven years has given him broad experience in geothermal well drilling processes, drilling equipment and well intervention services such as coiled tubing, sidetracking and fishing operations. He is passionate about knowledge sharing and research and has published over four papers.
