Kelly Blake is the Division Director and Sr. Geologist in the Geothermal Program Office. Throughout her time at GPO, she has used her time collecting, managing, analyzing and interpreting geologic and geophysical data sets from the Coso Geothermal Field and other installations with geothermal potential with the intention of producing or harnessing more geothermal energy at the Coso field or creating new resiliency opportunities at other DoD installations. She serves as the geothermal resource management and exploration lead for GPO and represents geothermal initiatives to command and leadership. She has also managed GPO personnel on daily/weekly tasks, training obligations and opportunities, as well as, the programs ~$2 million budget.
Kelly has a B.A. (Environmental Geoscience) from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and a Master’s Degree from Temple University. She is currently the Vice President of Geothermal Rising and the Global Executive for Women in Geothermal.
