Kecheng is currently a PhD student in Soga research lab at UC Berkeley and an affiliate at LBNL. Before this, Kecheng obtained his MSc in Civil Systems in 2020 at UC Berkeley and BEng in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics in 2019 at Sun Yat-sen University. His research interests include district heating and cooling system design and optimization, monitoring and modeling of geothermal system, application of high-performance computing and computer vision in civil systems, and wildfire evacuation.
