Mr. Jody C Robins is a Senior Geothermal Engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). Mr. Robins was lead author for the recently published 2021 U.S. Geothermal Power Production and District Heating Market Report (https://www.nrel.gov/docs/fy21osti/78291.pdf). He is the Principal Investigator for several geothermal research projects ranging from a multi-functional team developing an innovative electro-pulse drilling tool that is funded by ARPA-E to updating the Geothermal Electricity Technology Evaluation Model (GETEM). In addition, Mr. Robins has more than 20 years of oil and gas drilling and operations experience and is exploring how to best apply his drilling efficiency learnings to geothermal. He has a B.S. in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from Penn State (1998) and is currently enrolled in the University of Colorado Global Energy Management MS program.
