JAMES LOVEKIN has worked as a geothermal reservoir engineer since 1985, and he joined GeothermEx in 1996. His expertise includes: planning and execution of geothermal well tests; assessment of geothermal reserves and sustainable reservoir capacity; selection of optimal injection strategies for geothermal fields; and application of downhole production pumps in geothermal wells. He has been responsible for planning field development and monitoring reservoir performance at numerous geothermal fields in the United States, Indonesia, Turkey, and Central America. He has BS in Geological Engineering from the University of Nevada Reno, and an Engineer’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Stanford University.
