Hello, my name is Jackson Marshall Grimes, and I am pursuing a Msc. degree from the Iceland School of Energy. My research focus is social governance development of renewable energy projects. My thesis project is a community engagement questionnaire, as well as an industry professional stakeholder questionnaire for a pre-feasibility geothermal energy project in rural Argentina. I hold a Bachelor in Geography and Environmental Resource Management from Texas State University and have worked for a variety of resource management consultants.
As a native Texan I deeply understand the need for the clean energy transition to utilize every technology available to overcome our fossil fueled past. I believe geothermal is an incredible tool to be applied across the world and this will be achieved through educating and engaging people in a more effective way.
