CRISTINA VASILACHE is the Artificial Lift Product Champion for Electric Submersible Pumps downhole equipment at Schlumberger. She comes from an oil&gas background where she has worked for the past 18 years in various technical and operational assignments. Early in her career, since 2005, she has been involved with various geothermal projects world-wide. Her work includes development of new ESP technologies and new products introduction to the market. She understands the needs and technical requirements of the geothermal applications and can provide a fresh outlook on how geothermal industry can benefit from the experience of the oil industry and transferable technologies. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnical University of Bucharest, Romania.
