My name is Cody Massion and I am a graduate of Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Petroleum Engineering. I am currently pursuing my passion for science with a master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering at Oklahoma State University where I have joined Dr. Mileva Radonjic in the Hydraulic Barrier Materials Characterization laboratory since January 2020. Our focus is to investigate effective and efficient additives to be mixed in cement slurries to improve the performance in wellbore cement for use primarily in oil and gas offshore in the Gulf of Mexico, but also for wellbores in geothermal energy, CO2 sequestration, nuclear storage, and more.
