Christopher L. Martin (C.L. Martin) is a geothermal geophysicist specializing in consulting and surveying, imaging geothermal reservoirs using geophysical techniques, primarily 3-D MT using Phoenix Geophysics UMT survey equipment.He is a SAGE Alumni, did undergraduate work at San Diego State University (SDSU) and graduate work at University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) with the Nevada Bureau of Mines and Geology (NBMG), has geothermal resource assessment and geothermal geophysics certification from the National Geothermal Academy (NGA), and has been formally trained in Leapfrog 3-D modeling software. His startup company Martin Geothermal LLC launched this year, based out of Reno, NV. He is currently working on direct-utilization projects in Nevada including using geothermal to improve road conditions during winter, recycle plastic, and treat both drinking water and wastewater.
