Bastien is the Technical Sales Advisor in the Americas for the Leapfrog Geothermal software by Seequent. Bastien holds a MSc in Geology and has published a number of peer-reviewed technical papers on geothermal energy projects. He is geologist with 12 years of experience in geothermal resource exploration, evaluation and development, wellsite geology and 3-D modelling.
Bastien has completed geothermal resource assessments on numerous projects located in the Americas, Iceland and the Caribbean. He has been a wellsite geologist on numerous deep geothermal wells around the globe, including the Iceland Deep Drilling Project IDDP-2 in 2016 and some of the world's deepest geothermal wells in the Geysers field in California.
