Dr. Alexis McKittrick is a Program Manager with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Geothermal Technologies Office overseeing both the Low Temperature & Co-Produced Resources and Hydrothermal Resources research portfolios. In this role, she leads a team that supports research, development, and demonstrations across geothermal technology platforms, including district heating and cooling, heat pumps, power production, and thermal energy storage. Prior to joining DOE, Dr. McKittrick held energy and environmental research and analysis roles at the IDA Science & Technology Policy Institute and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. She has a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
