Mr. Mohamed is currently working as a graduate research assistant and doing his PhD studies in petroleum engineering at the University of Oklahoma. Previously he worked as a laboratory specialist at the petroleum engineering department, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia. He also served as a teaching assistant at the petroleum engineering department, University of Khartoum, Sudan; where he did his BSc studies. During his master’s study at KFUPM, he was involved as a research and teaching assistant, and he joined many research projects between KFUPM and service companies in drilling and wellbore cleaning. He was an executive member of the Students’ Society of Petroleum Engineers (SSPE) and Petroleum Engineering Alumni (UoKPEA) at University of Khartoum. Mr. Mohamed initiated and now serves as a president of the Geothermal Rising student chapter at the University of Oklahoma. He is also a member of the Geothermal Rising Student Committee. He filed three patents at the US patent office and published over 25 articles in peer-reviewed journal and conference proceedings. Mr. Mohamed is a member of the Geothermal Rising and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).
