Yaro graduated with a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech in 2020 where he performed research on meshfree methods and lattice Boltzmann method with a focus on applications in computational fluid dynamics and heat transfer. Upon graduating he joined the Thermal-Fluids department at Sandia National Labs as a post-doc. Recently, he has transitioned to Senior Member of Technical Staff and continues to develop software for the SIERRA multi-physics codes.
