Breeann Stowe is a graduate student at Temple University, Philadelphia, PA, expecting to graduate in the Spring of 2022 with a M.S. Geology where she previously compelted her Geology B.S. in Spring of 2020. The research she will present is the result of core characterization for the Play Fairway Geothermal Resource assessment of Washington State at Mt. Baker. She began work on this project in Fall of 2019 as an undergraduate independent study with Nicholas Davatzes which she continued post-graduation. She joined Temple to pursue an M.S. thesis in Spring 2021 in order to deepen her characterization of the core from TGH 76-31 and thus contribute to assessing geothermal potential in the Cascade Range, Washington State, USA.
